Explore Multi-Use Sites and New Trails

At the top of Elk Camp, the new Rayburn’s Pond and Maroon Vista will offer multi-use sites for group gatherings, photo opportunities, and naturalist talks. Both locations make the most of their natural surroundings and will provide interpretive signage and ADA-accessible paths.

The latest expansion of hiking and biking trails at Aspen Snowmass is intended to improve mountain accessibility. The 1.4 mile Spruce Spar trail is the newest hiking trail at Snowmass. Additional new trail is being created to reroute trail along the Sierra Loop and Rabbit Run, reducing trail intersections and improving the experience for hikers and bikers alike. The new mountain biking trails will give biking opportunities to beginner and expert riders, and will include a mix of flow and hybrid trails.  These trail improvements will also include upgrades to Meadows Skills Park.
