Ullr Nights Begin December 19 with Tubing, Ice Skating, Snow Biking and More

Looking for something different to do on Friday nights in Snowmass? Come to the Norse Snow God’s (Ullr’s) stomping grounds at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola. The magical winter wonderland offers sledding, beginner snowboarding and marshmallow toasting at the huge bonfire. Young and old alike will enjoy fire dancers, guided snowshoe tours and connecting with family and friends for old fashioned winter fun.

Tickets are $8 per person for an evening gondola lift ticket; children ages 3 and under are free. Activities start at 5:30 pm and finish at 9:00 pm running through April 3. Please dress warm to watch or join in the snowy outdoor events. There are indoor activities too! Savor delectable small plates at the gourmet cafeteria while the kiddos get creative with arts and crafts in “The Tent” on the lower level. Culinary choices include organic, locally harvested entrees, a gorgeous salad bar and scrumptious baked goods to satisfy any sweet tooth. A full bar adds to the celebration and it’s impossible to resist dancing to the local band’s upbeat music.

For something really different, try Ullr Nights Snow Bike Tours. Meet at 5:15 pm at Base Village Four Mountain Sports. Here are the details:
• Must be an intermediate skier or snowboarder (level 4 & up)
• Minimum age 12
• Cost is $69—includes bike, tour, lift (wear your own ski or snowboard boots)
• Minimum of 1 training ride and two on-mountain trail rides included
• Limited to 16 participants
• Weather permitting

Whether you join the kids for sledding on the hill or prefer to curl up in a comfy spot by the fireplace, Ullr Nights has something for everyone!
